Medals galore!

Gaelic Whiskies and Gaelic Gins both win medals in international competitions.

In August we were delighted when The Gaelic Gins won two medals in the International Spirits Challenge 2020! Both our Dry and Spiced gins won bronze – receiving well deserved recognition with these sought-after awards.

More good news in September – our Poit Dhubh Blended Malt has won two medals in this year’s International Wine & Spirit Competition. Both the 12 year old and 21 year old have been awarded silver medals, receiving scores of 93 and 92 respectively. We’re very proud to have received such great scores which reflect the quality of our products and commitment to continuing to produce the finest quality whiskies.

We are delighted! Tha sinn air ar dòigh! These are great achievements for our little company which celebrate our commitment to creating premium Gaelic Spirits.

24th March 2020 – COVID-19 announcement

In light of the current situation within the UK we have made the decision to close the Gaelic Whiskies and Gaelic Gins office and shop.  We are taking the latest Government guidelines very seriously and after much consideration and with deep regret we are currently unable to fulfil any postal orders for bottles of whisky or gin.  This is a decision that was not taken lightly, and while we wish to keep supplying our loyal customers with Gaelic spirits our first priority must be the safety of our small team and the community to which we belong.  We will review this decision at the end of three weeks, and advise you all of any changes.

We can, however, currently still dispatch case orders of whisky through our UK distributor (this includes mixed cases).  Payment for cases can be made through our website, using PayPal, or by emailing sales@gaelicwhisky.com to obtain our bank details to make a bank transfer.

We are working from home – please get in touch via email or Facebook messenger if you have any queries and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

We want to thank all our loyal customers for your support over the years, and look forward to resuming normal operation when this difficult time has passed.  We hope everyone is staying safe and well, and that you bear with us during this time.

Sending all best wishes from the Gaelic Whiskies and Gaelic Gins team.
